If yes you get a big fat welcome from me..
he's my favorite author
I do like Kafka, although he's not my favorite writer; I thought it would be cool to have a username that's a reference to both books I like and a band I like.

Well I did never read Kafka in english tho :/
I think it's a lot different.
I mean the guy is a genius,
when it comes to the german language..
It's so freaking complex anyways,
and then this guy comes along and just writes sentences
that you have to read 3 times until you understand them, lol

Wish you a beautiful time here

Yeah, that's interesting - I'm sometimes a little wary about reading translated things, because I kind of think (or know) that I won't get the full effect of the writing. So I can't appreciate it in the same way you can.

Thanks!

Had the problem with 90% of cartoons, like family guy, simpsons, futurama, bob's burgers, etc. ... first my bavarian brain did understand much too little, but now I almost understand everything. i always want to read or watch stuff in the original language, but i'm a crazy person, so.. don't listen to me and start learning 5 different languages just because of cartoons, books n music it's not really worth it, lol
