Default Griaß eich mitanand!

Hello there,
my name is Chris, i'm 22 years old and live in Miesbach, in Upper Bavaria.
Which kinda makes me a lil' beerdrinking mountain troll..
I'm a musician - I write my own songs since i was a lil' beerdrinking mountain teenage troll. I actually do not drink very much.
I play piano and guitar, and when i don't, I paint.
I like a lot of different styles of music, still, my heart will always stay with rock 'n roll, psychedelic rock, and jazz jazz jazz.
I also really love classical music.
I've been travelling a lot. I was in Switzerland, France and Spain for a year, with a Volkswagen T3 with my best friend and her dog.
I really love languages. In September, i'll start on a language "school" for English and Spanish. I actually speak 5 languages: German, English, French, Spanish, and Italian, 6 if you count Bavarian.
Bavaria is a cool place. We have many mountains, beautiful rivers, lakes, snowy winters and a lot of sunshine in summer.
My english might be uneasy to read sometimes, but i'll try to be understandable.
Thanks for reading, if you came this far,
and a big: "Servus!" to all of you

Welcome! I hope you'll enjoy it here.

Is there any specific reason you've named yourself after mashed potatoes?

Thank you very much.

Yeah, this is because of Bibi Blocksberg. It's a german's child book and she's a witch and she has a flying broom, which is called "Kartoffelbrei"

in lovely München. I've only been to
Miesbach once - either on my way to
Salzburg or Linz, but there's often a
train ride thru town. There's a nice
restaurant nearby called
Hirschbachstueberl.
Good to have you aboard!

tschüß!

Now playing: Franco & L'Orchestre TPOK Jazz – Alimatou
Thank you very much
Ya München is a beautiful city, especially the Isar.
I've spent hours n hours of my summers just sitting there, playing guitar

uhh yeah, beautiful place?
That's an understatement if I've ever heard of one.
So you live just a short distance from THIS?

If I remember my world history class correctly, isn't Bavaria home to a few century-old castles as well??

Not just a few castles. There's Burghausen, Harburg, Herrenchiemsee, Kempten, Leitheim, The "Residenz" in München, Neuschwanstein, Schleißheim and Trausnitz

Wow...none of that is fair.

Where I live in the United States, I have to drive 2 hours to find a lake, and take a plane trip to reach the Rocky Mountains.

And of course, there's no castles in the United States.

Still I would so love to see much more of the USA.
I love the West, but i've only seen the east. So it's just been a few cities i've seen, not much landscape...
