I just saw that I forgot to introduce myself ^^ So here it is.

I'm nat6432 (as you can read left to this ), my real name is Nathan, I'm 19 years old and addicted to music, I'm student in industrial engineering in first year (I missed it the first time, didn't study enough ).

I'm a piano player, actually I play it since I'm 8 years old, I tried to play... Saxophone? (sorry I'm not english, I'm from Belgium, which made that I can talk french and deutch pretty good), but I never could make a stupid f****** sound with that thing so I gave up and played piano :p

Well, for the other things, let's say I play many sports (kin-ball, mountain bike, table-tennis and tennis), I also love playing games (video games and board games, the one that are ultra-complicated) and I'm a big magic player.

And now the most interesting (or not?) subject, my musical tastes (can I say that in english? ^^), I principally love metal, not all styles but it would be too long to write them all down, my favorite band is at the moment "Insomnium", but it'll soon change as I am ^^ And for the rest of the music, I listen to everything, And I like everything with some exceptions, first of all, I don't like Jazz, can't tell why but I tried to listen to it and... No ^^ I hate rap and hip-hop, I can't do anything about it, some of my friends tried to make me listen to it but I never appreciated it, maybe one day... And the last thing I can barely listen to without killing someone is the commercial music (I don't turn my radio on because of that), what is commercial music for me? Easy :p All the music that passes three to four times a day on the radio for 1 month or so and then is forgotten by everybody.

If I made any mistakes in my english, it would be nice to tell me, thanks to read all this and see ya'

I also hate jazz. Thanks to MusicBanter, I have at least made some half-hearted effort to listen to it. But I still hate it.

Welcome! There was a time I didn't like jazz either but it's slowly become one of my favorite types of music. I think sometimes people don't realize how broad a genre it is and how many very different subgenres there are. So I wouldn't rule it out completely.

Anyway, welcome aboard! Nice to have fellow metal fan around. Who are some of your favorite artists?

Thank you to both of you I'll surely make a passage on your thread Vegangelica, seems fun ^^

And my favorite artists are at the moment: Seventh Wonder, Insomnium and Eluveitie (not the same genre but my favorite of all time ). And I still hope to enjoy one day that style of music, maybe ^^
