I like good music. I play the guitar a bit; can just about scratch out something resembling a tune but, really, the less said about that the better. My favourite turtle? Those that hatch on moonlit beaches and head for the ocean. Those chaps are the cutest. |

I think they're supposedly rare simply because the ginger gene is recessive and linked to the X chromosome, like haemophilia and colour blindness, which are consequently far more common in men? I could be completely mistaken though, perhaps it's simply an urban legend. |

Start out with easier to jump into threads like What are you listening to now? thread and the Albums you are digging thread also the last album you have bought, downloaded or w/e thread.

I suspect you're being somewhat modest with your estimation of your guitar-playing abilities; you're almost certainly better than me [most people are]. I've discovered that people don't tend to notice if you just sing very loudly over the top of it - they're too busy trying to escape the caterwauling And... excellent answer! Those turtles may not technically be mutants or ninjas, but they are exceedingly adorable. Do you have any pets as well? |

Haha. Trust me on the guitar playing. I'm pretty bad. Worse than you I wager.
No pets. I do live with a stray tortoiseshell cat. She's lovely, a real chilled out creature who chose to live with me. But she ain't mine. |

Do you have a name for her? Maybe she has half a dozen sort of "partial" owners, that would be a very feline thing to do. |

No name, no. Puss, Whiskers, Fatty, Bitch, Paws, Your Highness, I call her whatever comes to mind. I get the impression she believes she's living in ancient Egypt when cats were deities, and worshipped as such.

Then you should call her Bast
As a plus, whenever you're irritated with her, you could just lengthen it it "bastard". My dog is actually named Rory, but I often call him "the creature" or "Fur-face", because it sounds amusing [especially yelled across several fields at full volume... I'm infantile like that]. Have you ever done any song-writing or anything, or is your guitar playing purely recreational? |
