Default 'Allo

Hi, banter people.

Erm I joined because I love music and wanted to talk to other people who love music. In reality, I am seen to have a very odd music taste as I'm not-yet-30 (but over 20) and only really listen to music from before I was born (though I do like and listen constantly to some newbies). None of my family or friends like much of the same music as I do and my musical head gets lonely

What else?

I hate snobbery in music - I just think that you like what you like and if that's not 'cool' or whatever then so be it.

Favorite artists: Pink Floyd (I've had a slight infatuation with Roger Waters since I was 11 or 12), Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, the Velvet Underground and Leonard Cohen. I like some new music too - the National, FUN, some Carrie Underwood and even some Taylor Swift. Belle and Sebastian and God Help the Girl are my obsessions at the moment, though (PLEASE listen and listen to God Help the Girl - Musician Please Take Heed because it's amazing).

I tend to like everything, really
