Anyone who's a friend of Fred, Plankton, and Mojo is a friend of us all. Welcome, CoolBec! Who are your favorite artists?

Or better yet, what are your top five albums, off the top of your head?

Thanks Blarobbarg. Five albums?! Geez that's tough, there are so many and the answer to that question changes daily. I'll try to single out a few of my all time favs (leaving out the classical stuff to narrow it down a little).

Kind of Blue - Miles Davis
Standards (Vol I & II) - Keith Jarrett
Pat Metheny Group - Pat Metheny Group
Fictionary - Lyle Mays
Moving Pictures - Rush
An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess (Live Album)

As far as more current stuff, just too much to list.

Well, that's it, you're not allowed to leave. You're far too valuable.

But seriously, never leave. We need more jazz lovers 'round here.

I was actually an insufferable jazz/classical snob in high school. As I got older I finally took my head out of my a$$ and realized I was missing some pretty good stuff in some other genres.

Hi CoolBec! I totally know all about the MF rivalry but honestly on this forum no one even talks about them. It's more the MF's issue than ours. People get annoyed on this site because we don't allow new members to post links or promote their own music so they go to MF where you can and bitch about it.

Hi Vanilla! I'd honestly have to say that it doesn't really get mentioned much over there either. I'm sure it's just one of those things where one or two people start belly aching and talkin s**t.

On my OP I was really just giving a shout out to a couple of the folks who know me from there. Def not trying to dredge up any idle rumors.

I don't know if the 'Always' over there is the same as the 'Always' over here, but if they are then they do post here, just under a different name now.
