Default Oh, hi forum.

Hi there. I'm Eric. I'm from Oregon, and I'm a political sci major, who also loves listening to, and discussing music.

At my heart, I'm a rock n roll/60s pop, but my tastes do expand further than that. At the risk of sounding douchey, I'd call my tastes fairly eclectic. Instead of spouting off a laundry list of artists I like, here's the link to my most-played artists courtesy of my last.fm (shameless plug, I know)

last.fm/user/FifthofNovember/charts?rangetype=overall&subtype=artists

These charts are a bit dated, in that I don't listen to some of those artists, like Zappa, or Zeppelin, or the Stones, nearly as much anymore, but it's a fairly good snapshot.

i also play acoustic guitar (not well), am fairly interested in politics, old school console gaming, movies, and tv shows (I'd be happy to elaborate on those last two items in another post, but this OP is getting way too long anyway)

I have a pic of me in my profile. I'm the brunette on the right.

Any questions? ask away.

kthxbye now :]

Welcome to MB, AS! You sound like you'll fit in well around here.

What sort of things do you play on guitar? Folky stuff? Country?

Whoa..so..much abbreviation :P Yeah, seems like a great place. The only trouble is, me not doing what I normally do: sign up for a place, and forget about it in like..a day lol

Honestly..I just kinda play random things..whatever pops into my mind, I'll google the chords, and try

I know a couple Beatles songs, a couple zombies songs, a kinks song

an assorted collection of 90s songs I grew up with (kinda my Achilles heel.)

Good luck forgetting about MB.

Once you join the only way out is in a body bag.

You sure jumped right in with both feet, and I like that. It's the only way to do it, really, or you'll find the water is too cold here.
