New guy comin' through...
 

Hey all :) new around here. I'm suffering from a lack of like-minded musicians to talk to and discuss things with where I live, so thought I'd try out this whole music forum thing.

Uhm... not too sure what to say here. I like a lot of music but tend to prefer rock and lighter metal. I play a lot of instuments and love learning new ones, but focus most of my attention and time towards guitar, drums, piano, vocals, and a bit of bass. Not in a band at the moment because I can't find anyone in my city who's on the same mindwave as I am when it comes to music... which is pretty sad :/

Anyways, I guess I'll see you guys around the forum :) happy to be part of it...

Thanks for the welcome guys :) well I know I'm gonna forget a bunch of groups, but I'll give it a go.

I like a lot of classic rock. You know, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, The Who, etc... the the usuals like Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, a bit of Guns 'n' Roses, of course Nirvana (in case my avatar didn't give it away)... and other randoms like System of a Down, Tool, Dream Theater, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein, and as much as I might get a lot of hate for it, I really like Bullet for my Valentine. On the slightly heavier side, I enjoy an occasional dose of Children of Bodom, Slipknot, Machine Head, DevilDriver...

I'm just throwing out names here really, I could go on and on... but that should give you a general idea :)

The only thing we frown upon is a narrow mind. Welcome!
