Currently a 17yr old guitar player, been playing for 4 or 5 years now I can't remember. Artists I like include RHCP, REM, The Smiths, The Stray Cats, Robert Gordon's stuff, Chet Atkins, Bob Dylan, Squeeze, The Clash and above all: Dire Straits

I came here because I'm in a bit of a rut. I figured coming to a place where I could talk to other musicians might give me some inspiration and help cure the burnout. It's rough not having any musical friends to play with

So I'm just dropping by to see how the community here is, hopefully It'll be good

Welcome friend. This is a great site to discuss music. So...can you shred on guitar?

Haha no and I don't think I will ever try. I can hardly even use a pick now that I've started finger picking in the style of Knopfler.
