I'm kinda just your casual listener to almost any music out there. I don't know much about instruments, artists/bands, and I also have a bad time at deciphering what genre each song/music belongs in..
I feel like I'm the only guy in the world that just listens to music like it's a ride on a rollercoaster.. never really caring who it's made by or how... it's a weird "lonely" feeling

So I came here to get a better understanding of these things.. x3

Also I won't be asking many questions, nor do I want any explanations..
I'm planning on just learning by doing this

You're definitely not the only person who listens to music like that. Most people are content to listen to whatever's on the radio and not go out and find music themselves. That's how I was before I found this site! But trust me, knowing about the history of music and all the different types makes you appreciate it all that much more. You might even like kinds of music you never thought you would! Welcome to MB.
