Greetings
Salutations, music lovers.
I just registered here yesterday. I have made a few posts already, but figured I'd better follow protocol and visit the Introduction threads and give a proper introduction. Anyway, I'm jr. I don't know the demographic here, but I am 41. I suppose that probably makes me an old man in these parts. My musical tastes reach far and wide. I am always exploring for things I haven't heard before. My reasoning is, how do you know if you like it, if you've never listened to it? I am just as comfortable listening to Glenn Miller as I am listening to Metallica. I can't imagine listening to just one type of music. It's be like eating the same thing every day, you know? Seems as though that would get monotonous. Being an 'old timer', I have seen literally hundreds of shows. My very first concert ever was KISS, in 1977 (or was it 78?). Judas Priest opened up for them. I can't be sure, but I think it was J.P.'s very first American tour. Well, I have rambled enough. Again, greetings.

Sorry to bring this thread back up, but I didn't know where else to post this question. I looked FAQ, but couldn't find any answer.
I see a little white triangle, with a red border at the bottom of some poster's info. I looked, and maybe I just didn't look in the right place, but I couldn't find out what it means. Any help please?

Hi jr
I'm new to the forum too, I joined this month. Everyone is top. I'm glad your older than me as I was feeling old as hell compared to many in the community. I'm well impressed with the inteligence of the youngsters on this forum. They probabally go to school and learn, which I hardly did if I could help it. Hope you have lots of fun. Dezzy |
