Default Ok, so...

My "friends account" was banned for "Promotion" because "he" posted a song "he" wrote in the Songwriting section. Is this website not opened to users share their music? It's not like "he" is posting on every unrelated sub topic. I think a lifetime ban is a little outrageous for someone that is trying to get an opinion on their song in the songwriters thread...

I feel as though this post is going to get me a lifetime ban as well. Well mods?

I wouldn't know, you never mentioned the account name of your 'friend'

I'm guessing because 'he' posted 16 posts in quick succession so 'he' could post a link to 'his' work, disappeared for 4 months and only came back to post another song.

Posting links is something we allow contributing members to do, you don't just join up, spam 16 posts and then start posting links.

Well I will let "him" know that he cannot contribute to this website because hes not as active as he needs to be.

I guess "he" will just stick to reddit. More open, responsive and easygoing people there.

Thanks for your time friend.

Why are "you" giving the pretense of pretending to be a "friend" of this person when you are pretty much saying that you are the spammer in question? Passive aggressive much?
