Default Brand spankin' new here

I found this site through the google machine and I definitely like what I see here.

My A/S/L is 28/M/Illinois

Some of my favorite bands/artists (past and present) are:
The Bloody Hollies, Beck, Black Crowes, White Stripes, Electric Six, Gogol Bordello, The Black Keys, Cake, Foo Fighters, STP, The Dirtbombs, RATM, The Pixies, At The Drive-In, Blind Pilot, Ugly Duckling, Hank Williams (Sr, Jr, and III), Luda, Monster Magnet, and Los Tigres Del Norte

My biggest guilty pleasure? That would be cover songs.

Best live show I've ever been to? Andrew WK in a small venue

I'm into virtually all music old and new. I try my best to realize that some of the music that I listened to in high school and college were only good because of the good memories attached to them... which is way none of you will ever know that every once in a very, very blue moon I will play "Butterfly" from Crazytown when no one else is in earshot.

I hope to spend a lot of time here and to expand my musical knowledge.

I currently use Spotify and The Hype Machine to discover new music.

Thanks for having me!

Thanks! My favorite Beck album would have to be Midnight Vultures. That album is just a great time from beginning to end!

That's probably the height of his madness. I'm a little more conservative and lean towards Sea Change.

Me too. I'm not saying I *dislike* Beck but the only album I love and own is Sea Change. I think it's the Beck album for those of us that aren't truly fans, it's SO unlike the rest of his catalog
