New to music banter :)
Hi!
I'm Bree, a 21 year old Music degree student from England, working in the music industry Huge fan of rock/metal music, although currently my tastes are slightly more melodic. Lately I'm loving music by Shinedown, Sixx:AM, Hinder, Theory of a Deadman, Smile Empty Soul, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Poets of the Fall and Sick Puppies. Would love to chat to people with similar tastes. Uh... yeah! Looking forward to meeting new people! |

Welcome to MB Bree. My tastes are very similar. Cool that you listed Black Stone Cherry (among others), they don't get enough love and they rawk pretty hard.

Thank you!
I agree, Black Stone Cherry are frequently under appreciated. I was lucky enough to see them live in March, not for the first time, and they were truly incredible live! Which bands are you listening to lately? |

Hey welcome to MB! I'm also a music major in university. What year are you in? What is your instrument? I play flute for school (also play guitar and learning some other instruments) and I want to be a teacher (eventually, seems like this whole school thing is taking forever).

Hey Burning Down! I'm actually studying Music Management, not practical music. I'm going into my third and final year, although I'm contemplating doing an additional year and studying law.
I also play bass guitar and piano, but not in a band because I get really nervous performing in front of people No idea what I want to do professionally yet, but I'm happy with my current career path. |
