Hey, I'm GuitarHeroFan101!

Hello all, I am GuitarHeroFan101. I am a guitarist and a drummer :drummer:. My favorite video game is Guitar Hero/Rock Band, as you can tell. I play Expert Guitar,Bass,Drums, and Vocals. I have over 300 FC's on Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I am a huge music lover, which is why I signed up here. I listen to Rock music (Classic,Punk,Emo,Heavy Metal,etc.).

I seriously have WAYYY to many favorite artists/bands to put in a list.

Are they, by chance... all on Guitar Hero? ;)

What about a favorite album? Top five favorite albums? Favorite songs?

Most of them are on Guitar Hero. I really like Boston. I can listen to Peace of Mind and Rock and Roll Band over and over again and never get tired of them.

How many DLCs and what system? My global ps3 rank peaked around 312-315 on expert drums before having to change profiles earlier this year.

So stoked for getting Give It Away and Spoonman back in RB once the Blitz update goes live.

Never having played (nor ever likely to play) Guitar Hero, there is no part of that sentence that I understood. ;):hphones:

What's the point of playing Mario Kart when you can drive an actual go-kart?

What's the point of posting comments on the internet when you can be annoying in real life?

what's the point of playing "Skyrim" when you can't be a Thalmorian Dark Elf who can reanimate corpses in real life?

I'll admit to harbouring this attitude for a long time before trying the game out. Then I felt like an idiot because the game turned out to the be super fun and anyone who thinks that the game is any sort of replacement for the instrument is either really insecure or ignorant. Playing the game actually had a noticeable effect on the timing in my picking hand and the dexterity in my fretting hand as well.

The games also feature what is essentially a karaoke mode for vocalists and relatively novel way of presenting drum 'tab' (for lack of a better term).

Basically, don't knock it until you've tried it (on expert mode).
