Default Ladies, gentlemen and other creatures

I'm convinced that if I ever become deaf, I will go insane and die within two weeks.

That's just about how much music means to me. But enough about me, let's talk about you.

Oh, yes, and pleasure to meet you all!

Why thank you, sir!

Well, when it comes to music, I'm schizophrenic: depends on the mood, a lot. I'm bad at genres, but I'd say I'm an indie folk - folk rock - indie rock - bluegrass - alternative - electronic - violin-laced Reggae rock - classical-ish kinda gal. I can listen to anything between Andrea Bocelli and Rammstein, as I said, depends on the mood. But ok, I try to answer your question. Here's a list of few bands/artists I listen to: Carpark North, Noah and the Whale, Damien Rice, Johnny Flynn, Mumford and Sons, Hot Hot Heat, Band of Horses, Eddie Vedder, Editors, Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Satellite Stories, Florence and the Machine, Andrew Woodworth, Andrea Bocelli, Fair to Midland, Grandfather Birds, Aqualung, Ringside, ZOX, Katzenjammer, Placebo, Travis, Kate Bush, The Feeling, Weezer, The Kooks, Rammstein, PMMP, Miljoonasade, The Sounds, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Knife, Mew, Disco Ensemble... um, I think that's enough for starters. Oh! And Regina (from Bosnia-Herzegovina, not Regina from Finland, I don't like that...as if anyone would even know these two bands )

And yes, I am from Finland but no, I'm not a fan of The Rasmus nor Nightwish.

And how about you?

Nice. I loved Hot Hot Heat's first album and dig a little Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, The Knife and Weezer from time to time.

Because they're fun and catchy. I wish there were more pop acts out there that were as enjoyable to listen to as they are.

Welcome to MusicBanter, Mervi. I can't say I like almost any of the same acts you do, but I always appreciate intelligent music lovers here! Hope you stay!

Has anybody seen a dog run through here? It's a golden retriever and answers to the name, "Blondie". God damn it, that Korean restaurant is gonna want it's money back.

Thanks, Blarobbarg! I probably will stay, at least till the end of my holiday. After that it's just working and sleeping (perhaps little eating somewhere in the middle). Damn, sometimes I just wish I was filthy rich and needn't to work. Anyhow, I'm always open for new music (main reason why I came here in the first place), so feel free to educate me.

...and THE Batlord... Sorry, I just woke up from a nap and am not prepared for this. Gotta wait till the brain fog clears. But just in case you don't find your dog: I'm blonde and can bark like a dog extremely convincingly. Not that I wanna become chop suey, but hey! If that's what it takes, then that's what it takes!

Personally I just like Sexy and I Know It because it's rather funny, butt he rest of them, meh, I don't care for the rest. OK they're not as bad as BrokeNCYDE butstill, eh. Then again, I like some stuff that might be absolutely ungraspable to others as well so meh.
