New member here. I might be missing something obvious, but I cannot figure out how to even create a signature. Do I have to wait 3 months before I am able to create one, even if it is just text?

No, you can make one now. Click on "User CP", then look along the left side panel. You'll see "Settings and Options" and under that you'll see "Edit Signature". Click on that and create a signature in that window.

Thanks for the reply, but I do not have an option for 'Edit Signature' listed.

Under "Settings and Options", here is what I see listed:
Edit Avatar
Edit Email & Password
Edit Options
Edit Ignore List

I believe Edit signature is locked behind a post number but not completely sure if it is still that way and what the number is.

Maybe 15? I'm not sure if the admin has changed anything. I haven't been made aware of any changes at least.

Hi Cheese, welcome back! :)

Larger avatars need to be set up by a mod. You just need to post a link to the avatar you want in the avatar requests thread. There's a full explanation of how it works in the OP of that thread. Please just make sure any avatar you pick is no wider than 175px.

And now for a sane reply... back Goatpop! Back I say!

Go to your User CP (control panel) in the top left of your screen. Select Edit Signature, add what you want. Be aware that there is a character limit (think it's about 100). If you want to put in a quote just copy it (by selecting it from the QUOTE button) and paste it into your sig.
