I'm sure the good folks here will gladly expand your musical tastes... they did mine, by a lot. A whole, whole lot.

Plus, at 14, you really don't need to worry about starting a real band. As long as you keep working at your music and play with other musicians, no matter what they play, you'll get better. And if you keep at it, when you get into senior high/college, you'll have a better time finding bandmates that are into what you're into.
