Wink Hello from France

Newbie here. I am already on the progarchives forum. I like all genres of music, with a soft spot for metal (I followed carefully the golden era of death metal in the early nineties) and classical music (all eras from early music to contemporary). I hope i will post on this forum as often as on progarchives forum.

That's quite a list! I see we got some overlapping interests. As I'm a norwegian, I have to say Jan Garbarek stands out in your list as particularly interesting (even if I see he's not the only norwegian in there).

I also feel I don't see many french artists in there, yet I thought you were french, but now I also noticed in your post it says you are a native from Poland. So I guess you're a polish guy who moved to France?

I was 2 years old when my parents left Poland. And I also like some french music, later Alain Bashung, Serge Gainsbourg, Georges Brassens, Claaude Nougaro, Jacques Brel, Barbara, Katerine, Izia, Trust, Stinky Toys, Les Béruriers Noirs, Seven Reizh, XVIIe Vie...
Basically, I don't limit myself to a single musical genre : if music is good it has my adhesion. From Norway, I like Edvard Grieg, A-Ha, Farmers' Market, Jaga jazzist, Terje Rypdal and other ECM artists, Atrox, Ansur, Hagalaz Runedance and Nebelhexe, Jorn Lande, Ark, Criterion and a host of black metal bands, among which Emperor and Obtained Enslavement.
