Hey guys my name is Jake. I play the alto sax, guitar, harmonica, and I sing. I just started collecting records and I mainly listen to Jazz, Prog-Rock, Metal, and Idm/Ambient. Looking forward to learning about new music.

And you like jazz and ambient eh? Have you ever heard Bohren & der Club of Gore? They're an ambient jazz band, sound right up your alley. :)



Also, Floex. He's an electronica artist that has studied jazz clarinet. Pretty good.

I really like that so far I'm definitely going to look into ambient jazz more. And some of my favorite artists include Aphex Twin, Art Blakey, Charles Mingus, Frank Zappa, The Flaming Lips, Justice, Joshua Redman, and John Coltrane
