One of those "hello" threads

Hey guys.

Just recently got into music and started forming my own tastes independent of what's on the radio at the moment, so I thought joining a music forum would feed my new interest.

So far, the genres I've been listening to have been mainly post-rock and alternative rock (hopefully I have the genres right?). I've listened to some Mogwai, pg.lost, Lymbyc Systym, God is An Astronaut, Radiohead, pre-00s U2, Arcade Fire, and some other stuff... so I'm hoping that this forum will help in expanding my small library and learning about music in general.

So I'm basically the ultimate noob lolol

Anyway, can't wait to get to know you all!

Welcome to the forum, and welcome to the wide, wacky, wonderful world of music! Check out This Will Destroy You, they're really awesome ambientish post-rock.

Aside from those genres, are you into anything else? Do you play any instruments? Would you like to?
