Default So, hi!

Hey there everyone! My name is Christina, but people tend to just call me Chrissie. So, I'll let you take a wild guess in figuring out what one of my favorite things in the world is....hmm.... *thinks about giving a hint* Well, why not!

<The one with the microphone

Ok, I know...I gave it away, but I just can't help it sometimes! I love to sing. Music means the world to me, and there really isn't a way that I can fully describe it.

Anywhooooo, so what else to tell you. Oh! I ramble a lot! (As if you haven't noticed this yet ) I'm 17 years old, a senior in high school (so excited to graduate this year!) and my vocal type is Soprano 1.

Now, I've been taking voice lessons for a few months now, and my voice teacher is awesome! (Just throwing that in there) We've been working on some Whitney, Mariah, Celine and Christina (Aguilera). However, I don't know if it is just me, my head voice sounds weird. Almost like it's a balloon full of air? I don't know. My voice teacher says she likes my head voice and makes me use it, but when I record and listen back it sounds really funny to me! I really don't see what she likes about it >.< So I tend to try singing in my middle voice and she always does this: So I never get away with it! I want it to sound clear, and it really does not sound clear to me!

Also, to make things soooooo much better. I got laryngitis about two months ago. I couldn't sing for a while, and once my voice got better I realized I had lost some of my high notes. I used to be able to hit a high C and now I'm barely able to make the B flat without cracking! It drives me insane when I'm trying to warm up O.O

LOL, I prolly sound like this right now:

Anyways, vent ended! I can't wait to meet all of you guys and talk music (and anything else really, I just love to talk XD) Hope to make lots of friends
