Sooo... hello folks! An older rock and roller here that has never lost touch with the new either. Been collecting music for damn near 50 years. I'm all over the place musically but it's gotta have real emotion for me to lend an ear more than once.

I go from Classic Rock to Scandi Rock... from Glam to AOR... from Thrash to some Pop. Where I don't go is Rap/Crap/Hip Hop or Country.

I ran a REAL record store for years when vinyl was still the norm and own over 2K near mint slabs. I'm every bit as opinionated as anyone here lol. I look forward to meeting you and discussing music. Peace.

Welcome aboard! I like a decent amount of hip hop and country, among many other things, but I too hate crap. So I guess we have that in common. :laughing:

Thanks for the welcome. :) Among my faves are Queensryche, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Journey, Todd Rundgren and Kenny Loggins (told you I was all over the place). I accept no boundaries as long as something touches my soul.

I believe we share a love for disliking a lot of the crap music that is currently out there.

Thanx steve. Yeh most all the new music I find listenable comes from Europe. American radio is dead unless you like Gaga and such crap or unless all you want to hear is the same stuff that as being played 20-30 years ago. To each their own but I love exploring the new horizon that many new real rock bands offer. None of them can get played on corporate American radio but that won't stop me from seeking them out.
