Cool Looking for a new forum to lurk

I always sucked at the whole introduction/tell about yourself thing. I guess you could say i have pretty diverse music tastes. This happened over time as my tastes changed. When i was younger i listened to alternative rock and as i got a little older and angstier in my teen years i began listening to a lot of metal and nu-metal. Since then i've listened to everything from a little folk, rap, country, hip-hop, and even some pop. over the last few years my music tastes have become increasingly attuned to electronic music. Initially house, then dubstep, and now i find myself listening to variations of both as well as other forms of electronic music. I guess i just really love finding new songs that make my eardrums melt and its a pain wading through dozens to find just one song that wows me. I mostly listen to music in my room. Have had ATH-M50's for a while and my Denon AH-D2000's arrive in the mail tomorrow (SO EXCITED). However, i love raves.. just don't get to attend them often . So yeah... i'll probably stick mostly in the electronic music section, but i may stray from there to talk about how amazing and incredible TOOL is.

TL;DR I love music

NTL;DR (Not too long; Did read! )

Welcome, iluvwubs. I liked hearing about your musical journey.

Have you listened to much Eskamon? I love their song, "Fine Objects," and so I will share it with you since you may appreciate it as much as I do for its heavy, quirky, tinkly crunchiness:

Eskamon - "Fine Objects"

In honor of Tool, here's my favorite Tool song (of those I've heard):

Tool - "Right in Two"

I hope you'll enjoy the site, even if you mostly just lurk!

Thanks skaltezon

Vegangelica, i have not listened to eskamon before, but i definitely like them. That sorta sound definitely appeals to me. I'm kinda stuck on Distance (especially 'V') and Ill-Esha for the moment. If you haven't heard them you should give them a listen. As far as tool goes, i love 'right in two'. It's an amazing song, with a great message. There are so many Tool songs i absolutely love i could go on forever about why i love each one, so i'll spare you for now. I think one of my all time favorites would have to be parabol and parabola played together in that order. They are meant to be played together and the transition between the two songs is just.. so.. intense. Anyways, thanks for the warm welcome
