Hey guys, Just wanted to say hello, new to the forum and looking forward to discussing music, and finding some exciting new stuff!

In terms of music I like I think it covers a wide range:
I'm into a lot of hip hop like A Tribe Called Quest, Jurassic 5, De La Soul, Digable Planets.
Starting to get more into "Indie/Alternative" like The Smiths, Joy Division, Belle and Sebastian.
Big fan of Motown, and Soul music in general, I'm thinking of pursuing masters work in this field (I'm trying to become a historian/professor in terms of a career path)
I also like a lot of Big Band, Jazz, and Swing music.

Always looking to expand my tastes, I look forward to getting to know all of you!
