I don't really have any long-term favorites, but in my current playlists...

Florence and the Machine, Birdy, Ane Brun, Anais Mitchell

but go through phases of obsessing over 1 or 2 artists over a period of time!

Aw man, how'd you like Hadestown? I think she did a brilliant job. I wish I could see it performed in a live setting by she and all the guests.

forgot to mention I love Jazz/Folk music, but haven't been listening to too much recently

Hadestown = 1 album that will stay in my car, the sound is perfect. I am a fiddle player and love playing along... :D

I love the theatricality of it. I would love to see that onstage, the way the Decemberists did Hazards of Love. If I'm being honest, that's the only album of hers I've heard yet. How's the rest of her work?
