Default Oh hi.

Name's Bill, aged twenty four (though I hit the big 2-5 in a couple of months -- I realize most people aren't bothered by that age, but I really, really am). I live in Washington state about forty minutes south of Seattle.

I play bass guitar, regular guitar, keyboards...pretty much anything you throw at me besides drums. I can't play drums to save my goddamn life.

I'm an avid music pirate (though I also purchase plenty), and currently have a collection of just over 200,000 mp3s, both legitimately and illegally acquired. I'm kind of a sponge for music in general -- I absorb everything I listen to and need more, all the time.

My genre tastes are pretty much all over the map. Favorite artists include Navicon Torture Technologies, Boris, New Found Glory, Brand New, Atmosphere, Jack's Mannequin, The Rita, Jandek, Melt-Banana, Venetian Snares...I could go on for quite awhile.

Did I mention I talk a lot? Yeah, I talk a lot.

I'm hitting the big 2-5 myself in a couple of months, it's all downhill from here. Welcome to MB.

Plenty of music pirates here, I think you'll fit right in

Yea, I think I saw you post in the Jandek forum... I'm glad to see another fan of his music.

EDIT: Oh... and you apparently like Keiji Haino and know of Masonna... you need to post here more. There are some really unique and remarkable people on this site who have interesting tastes in music, and I think you would fit in wonderfully.

I'll do my best to post more often, life is a bit of a bumpy trip at the moment, but hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have everything straightened out. My music tastes are ever-expanding and growing; I'm kind of hoping to use this site to fill in some of the holes I know I'm missing.

Which goods? The music? That can most likely be arranged...I'm always up for sharing whatever I can. The more people that know about good music, the better.
