Default Please allow me to introduce myself...

Sorry, I couldn't resist the reference. Music is one of my obsessions.

Hi. I'm Michael Scott Miller (well, that's my pen name. Mike is fine here). I write contemporary fiction.

By way of intro, I thought I'd share with you my recent blog post on [Link removed by mod - We don't allow advertising/promotion. If you stick around and contribute, we'll know you're not here to spam, and will be far more lenient in this regard. Thank you.]

I look forward to getting to know you.

Shame about the link. If you send it to me then i would like to read it.
Hi Matthew. Nice to meet to. Yeah, I was a little disappointed about the link since it was very on topic and not promotional at all. But the rules are the rules, I suppose.

I'll send you the link by PM.

Music is one of your obsessions?

What artists do you often find yourself gravitating to?

First choice is probably pop punk --- Green Day, Rancid, Social Distortion, Dollyrots

My range is pretty wide though, as I'm also a Deadhead and Parrothead.

My favorite era is the late 70's/early 80's British invasion featuring The Clash, The Jam, Stiff Little Fingers, Sex Pistols.

For my novel, I ended up writing about a band that's more urban funk crossover because I needed the story to match the characters from the streets.

Thanks for asking!

I figure Deadheads are Grateful Dead fans but Parrothead? I have no idea about that one.

Dittohead is lost on me as well.
