In the immortal words of Minnie Pearl-Howdyyyyy!!!!!!
Been hearing about this forum and liked what I saw! What swung me over was a discussion thread on the album "Moving Waves" by the Dutch group Focus. LOVE IT! I decided that this forum was one I needed some serious attention to. And in honor of deciding last night to join up I got out that lp and went right to "Hocus Pocus". And yodeled to my hearts content, Thirty eight years after that release this album still rocks!
Will check in from time to time! |

Welcome to MB !
Yes, Hocus Pocus is a pretty unusual piece of music. What other stuff do you like ? And I have a couple of other questions for you if that`s ok : Are you a Moody Blues fan by any chance ? Who is Minnie Pearl ? |

British Inavasion, Prog, Folk, Jazz, some classical, older Country, lots of oldies, R&B, etc.
Yes, big Moody Blues fan. First time I saw them was in 1970, the most recent time was just a couple months ago. And have seen them numerous times in between. Been very lucky to meet three of the members. Minnie Pearl was a star at Nashville's Grand Old Opry. Mostly comedian routines, some singing. Is a member of the Country Music hall Of Fame. She goes back several decades. Howdyy was always her trademark "schtick" when she came out on stage. |
