Herro
Intro...duction... ahh...
I switch genres about twice a year because I have musical ADD. Few artists are spared. Love music (like everyone but the trolls here, yeah?) but I could not play an instrument to save my life. You lot have some odd emoticons o__O. I don't know if I'll stay. The last music forum I joined got hectic <__<;. Herro anyway. (Is there any way to switch forum skins? Powder blue makes me angryangry.) |

powder blue is a calming color I have no idea why it makes you angry.
Switching genres twice a year doesn't sound like musical ADD, if you did have it, you would switch genres every 30 seconds. but welcome anyways. Check out these links asap Obey Da Law Noobs R Us

Yeah, switching twice a year is awfully slow. I usually switch genres once a month or so.
Anyway, welcome. What's your current favorite bands/artists? Or what is your current musical obsession? |

Wowow. You lot take things vurr literally.
I mean that I co-opt a new genre about twice a year. Something I was never into before, that I crave irresistibly for a few months to the point that others get drowned out and forgotten. Right now I'm half and half between post-rock and dubstep/drum&bass (but I think that's sliding quickly into the ether; there's too much mediocrity in the genre that I don't have the motivation to sort through). I have no issues genre-jumping between songs :3. Just that I'm never on an even keel, listening to each evenly. Favorites are... well, pretty mainstream in their respective genres, save for a few. Placebo, 65daysofstatic, God is an Astronaut, Dirtyphonics, Saetia, Collapse Under the Empire, Elliott Smith (only XO), Sufjan Stevens (only Seven Swans), leftmore, Death Cab (can't halps it), mewithoutYou, Windir (I had this huuuge metal phase for a while and this is the only band that's made it past), Neutral Milk Hotel, Death From Above 1979, The Gits. I think I'm about to shift into a Portishead/Trash Palace/Sneaker Pimps era for a while. Fully aware that 99% of people will think my tastes are ****e <3. No need for a "lolol you are fail" or any such. TL;DR some good bands and some ****e ones. Post-rock is favored. Trip-hop may be next. |
