Just found this site after some Googling and figured I'd start up a membership and take a better look around. I love music...the music goes on and I can switch the world around me off. I pretty much like all genres of music, actually that's a lie...I'm not to keen on country but of course that excludes the legendary Cash. I have a soft spot for Punk and it does take up most of my listening. Hmm what else...I guess this is a music forum so a few of my favourite bands would be Social D, The Shins, The Queers, The Beatles, The Stones, Ramones, The Black Keys, Rancid, Blink 182, Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, Muse, SOAD...and it goes on and on.

Hopefully I'll see you around the forums.
I know you aren't too keen on country but since you are on music banter maybe you can explore some more artists and end up finding more than just Mr. Cash that you end up liking.

I would say try out a few songs in this thread
http://www.musicbanter.com/country-f...try-songs.html

Newer country songs are usually a bit on the pop side and are more accessible to people that don't like country in general.

As much as you're wrong about the quality of the beach boys, maybe we should stop invading the poor new persons thread. Perhaps they will see our passion for music.
