I'm new here, and I hope to get to know everyone, I listen to a wide variety of music, but I am deeply into progressive music.I have a special fondness for Canterbury Music, especially Hatfield and the North, National Health , Caravan and Camel.
I look forward to discussing music with all of you. |

A DJ by the name of Rick Chaffen intrudced me to Canterbury in the late 80s. I can't believe that I hadn't ran across a lot of these great bands(I did know Soft Machine and Camel) but I was introduced to Hatfield, National Health, Matching Mole and a host of other wonderful bands outside the Canterbury scene.
Hatfield is my favorite Canterbury band, however, It takes me back to a wonderful place that only I can understand; or am I wrong about that? Tell me how you guys feel when you listen. |
