Default new member saying hello

Hey I'm glad to have found this forum and that it looks so hugely active. I'm a 25 year old music fan from west midlands uk I love talking music nearly as much as listening to it but the crowd im in now are more into sports and cars so they dont know what I'm bangin on about half the time I look forward to speaking with members here as I'm always open to band/album suggestions.

These are my favourite styles of music and have been for a long time

Latin Jazz - Not so much the laid back 60s style, more the faster, funkier kind from the last 20 years, much to enjoy here.

Disco/Funk 1970s-1980s so many obscure classics I'm always finding more,

Jazz/vocal/easy - smooth no bebop, mainly vocal from 1940s-1990s

Progressive Rock - Only familiar with the original late 60s early 70s bands and I love them.

1980s new romantic/new wave - the first type of music I got into and gradually it led me to all of the above.

I used to be a vinyl junkie but these days I'm into mp3 and cds. I dont have favourite bands any more because I like so many different ones but I do have regularly played albums that I consider to be favourites.

My username is a reference to the Martha & The Muffins album Dansparc

see you on the boards

Welcome!
Nice introduction. Got a list of some bands you like in particular?
There's some sports freaks here as well, but music is definitely the main thing here.
I should admit myself I love (old) cars. Sorry
I'll try my best to re-convert you into a vinyl junkie

Have a nice time!

Hi danser !
Welcome to MB. What you explain so clearly here ^ goes for me too. (Just the age, the part of the UK and the friends` topics are different.)

So I hope you find what you`re looking for here - good luck.
