Greetings
I always find these initial forum introductions very difficult. I suppose it is that overriding feeling that somehow I cannot justify my existence through the tapping of my laptop keys. That is all a little weird, maybe too heavy for an introduction!
Well hello all. I look forward to reading your insights and gettign to know your internet persona! |

It's a music forum.
Talk music, that helps . What do you listen to?

I went into another introduction thread and saw the person had listed their music interests and I felt like an idiot!
Was really the obvious thing to do! I just finished listening to Patti Smith's Horses and am now listening through Robert Wyatt's Rock Bottom. I downloaded some stuff by Built To Spill, Slint, A Dylan with the Dead concert set and a band called The Chills. |

That's definitely an interesting list .
But do you have any favourite bands in particular?

I'll try get all High Fidelity and go for a top time all five albums!
Blonde On Blonde His N' Hers - Pulp (precursor to Different Class, in my (incredibly humble, honestly!) opinon some of Jarvis ****er's best lyrical work) Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of The Moon - Pink Floyd (they are inseperable for me!) Some Cities - Doves Mezzanine - Massive Attack Other favourites include Penal Colony - Women Eyelid Movies - Phantogram Beggars Banquet - Rolling Stones American Pie - Don McLean (it is almost a pity the title song became what it did as the album is fantastic) And then anything by Dylan, Beatles, Blur, Suede, Arcade Fire, Dire Straits. |

Haha, our taste seems to match for quite a bit.
