hey
as you can probably guess from my username i am a huge Neil Young fan...
apart from NY i have quite varied tastes in music, everything from Chuck Berry and Elvis,through Beatles, Small Faces, Loretta Lynne,Sex Pistols, Clash, Ska, Wings, KISS, Lynard Skynyrd, CCR, Jam, AC/DC, Split Enz, Oasis, Blur, Paul Weller, John Cash, Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, Gaslight Anthem, My Morning Jacket, Laura Marling, Nikki Yanofsky, Dylan, Lauren Pritchard etc etc. ths list is endless. im not a fan of Abba,Eagles, America, Stones, Hendrix, Pink Floyd but do have some of their music. my music collection consists of 2000+singles, 2000+vinyl albums & 1000+cds. so i hope i can contribute some intelligent conversation/views in this forum. |

Ah, always good to have a fellow vinyl collector here.
You've got some nice bands in your list (Lynyrd, Blur, Dylan) altough I must say that I like quite some bands you aren't a very big fan of (Eagles, Hendrix, Floyd). Welcome

thanks for your 'welcome'....also forgot to mention that i hate the term 'genre' with a passion,too many artists get labled with this genre or that genre too readily, and really they do not fit the 'genre' name...im sure i'll get to explain myself fully in other threads along the way

Welcome to MB, Crazy-Horse, you chose a really good name for yourself. I used to love Neil Young too, but then I kind of played him so much that I`ve had to take a rest from him for a few years.
I liked about six people from your "likes" list, and there were about five names I`d never heard of. Impressive collection of music BTW ! |
