Hey!
Hello everybody, I'm Kyle. I live in Boston, it's a pretty cool city. I got bored of talking to my friends about music so I figured I'd come here haha.
Some of my favorite bands include: - Pavement - Okkervil River (new album comes out the day before my birthday!) - Wilco - Broken Social Scene - Delta Spirit - the Strokes - No Age Recently I've been on an 80s/90s alt kick, listening to the likes of Pavement, Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, Built to Spill, Dismemberment Plan, Grandaddy, etc. I'd have to say that's my favorite "genre", if you will. I love live shows. Some of the upcoming shows I plan on going to are White Rabbits, Sebadoh, Tame Impala/Yuck, Pains of Being Pure at Heart/ Twin Shadow, Smith Westerns, and Okkervil River. I just started reading up on music theory and learning guitar/keyboard. My roomate plays drums. We joke about starting a band. It may or may not ever happen lol. I hope to be good enough at the guitar/keyboard to start writing decent music by the end of the year. Outside of music I love just hanging out with friends and playing video games. I used to play Counter-strike: source competitively and was pretty good. I've since stopped playing and now enjoy the occasional game of heroes of newerth or star craft 2 (I suck badly). I'm in my third year at Northeastern studying computer science. Hope there are some NU students on the forums! If you want to say hi, or I interest you enough to shoot the **** (:P) feel free to hit me up on aim @ bosoxfan456 (made that name in like 9th grade, don't judge me haha). Also, last.fm www_last_fm/user/bosoxfan456. Replace the _ with . because I can't post links lol. |
