i used to rate doolittle over everything, but i just favour surfer rosa/bossanova so much more now since i've gotten into them a lot more. hey and tame are two of my favourite songs ever ever ever ever though. all of their albums are absolutely fantastic really, i just think trompe le monde is a little under par in comparison to the other four. even their bsides album is brilliant, manta ray and into the white <3

you ever been to see pixies?

yeah last year, probably the best concert i've ever been to, just because it meant a lot to me to see them. they done two exclusive "fan" shows where you could only get tickets if you were subscriped to their mailing list. also the fans got to choose the setlist, which was mega awesome. 03/06/10 <3 wish i'd gone to both nights but i had to work the day after so i couldn't go to the one on the 4th.

Outside of the Radiohead concerts I've been to I'd have to say the Pixies concert was my second favourite after Matthew Good, but that's only because of the atmosphere. I got to see Matthew Good play an acoustic set in a bar in my hometown. Pixies one was outdoors (Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto) so it was pretty epic too though. It's got to be pretty tough to not pick a good Pixies set list. I don't know how you could go wrong.

What's your favourite song on Downward Spiral BTW? I always loved A Warm Place. Gives me chills every time I listen to it.

Yeah they played at a festival I was at in 05 (unfortunately I wasn't much of a fan then, I know of them/the odd song (Where Is My Mind?, Here Comes Your Man, y'know the obvious ones) so I didn't see them but I saw them in a proper venue last year, was amazing. The venue was beautiful too.. This is it http://www.1001night.co.uk/uploaded_...y-2-705964.jpg (but it wasn't seated, it was standing, all of those tables and chairs were removed for the gig)

Argh man it was so good. Really wanna see them again their set was so so good, this is what they played when I saw them Pixies Concert Setlist at Troxy, London on June 3, 2010 | setlist.fm

And my favourite song off TDS? Gotta be March of the Pigs or A Warm Place, or if I'm gonna conform, Hurt :P weirdly, TDS isn't my favourite NiN album, it just sounds better as a username haha. Pretty Hate Machine is my favourite.

Also Radiohead put on a brilliant show. I saw them like 2 years ago, really enjoyed the show. Also last year I went to Glastonbury and saw Thom Yorke do a solo set (and Johnny Greenwood came on to do a couple of songs) and it was absolutely amazing. He done The Pyramid Song and Idioteque which are two of my favourites.

I consider myself a pretty big Pixies fan but I still haven't heard all of Come on, Pilgrim. :/

Anyway, welcome to MB, Thommy boy. Not a bad list there, but it is lacking screamo. Real screamo.

I've seen Radiohead 3 times but haven't seen Thom Yorke do a solo set. I really liked The Eraser. Obviously not at the level of Radiohead but still really good.

It's not so much a lack of love for Pilgrim as it is an abundance of love for everything. It's just a question of which album I love the least. Pixies more than any other band I pride on how many good songs they have. Like I said before I can't name a Pixies song I don't like.

And I just can't for the life of me get into screamo. I have tried but it's just not for me. Not a fan of metal or country either.
