Hey MB, I'm back! :D
Hey fellow musicbanterers and banterins I've been away from the site for quite a while, but this thread marks my official return. I see there are some new people on the boards and figured I might as well make a thread in introductions
The reason I was away was because I was writing a an ecology thesis and this site was just taking up too much time. Now the thesis is delivered (yay!) and I once again have time to spend on musicbanter. For newcomers who don't know me at all, I'm a norwegian in my very late 20s who likes science (particularly biology), animals, fishing, gaming, drinks obscene amounts of tea and who has a strong music preference for rock and fusion from the 70s. Some favourite famous bands and artists include Frank Zappa, Caravan, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Gentle Giant, Return to Forever, Kate Bush, Jethro Tull, Yes, Boston, King Crimson, Dire Straits, Steely Dan, Megadeth and King Crimson. Hey guys! To the old timers, I've missed you and it feels good to be back!

The forum, as a whole, just got smarter.
