Hey guys...
I've been lurking these forums for a long time now and have finally decided to join and discuss music with like minded audiophiles. I listen to many different kinds of music so you'll probably see me posting in many of the sub-forums you have devoted to particular genres. I look forward to sharing music with everyone here and getting to know everyone better.
Cheers

Well to let you guys know more about my musical interests, I can tell you that I spend a great amount of time listening to music when I'm not writing university papers or studying. I am not too big on mainstream pop music or anything on the current billboard top 40. Two years ago I listened mostly to Alternative Rock and Grunge. I then transitioned to Extreme Metal and then acquired a taste for Progressive Rock. Since then, I have gotten into electronica and dance music as well.
At this time, I am transitioning back to metal and am currently also really into indie music right now. I have also began to take explore screamo and like what I've heard so far. Genres that i dislike or are ignorant about include Rap and Country. I like a few Hip-hop musicians but am totally turned off by gangsta rap and crunk. Country for me is the most boring kind of music. I am always broadening my musical palette and hopefully you guys can help in this regard.
