Psych Folk & Rock
Hey folks. I've been going through a lot of obscurities from the 60's and the 70's -- psych and acid stuff -- which I really enjoyed so I'm here to share my knowledge and hopefully even find some new fuzz!
Cheers |
I love 60s psych folk and rock. You're very welcome to share your knowledge. What would be your favorite psych folk or rock bands?
|
Would Black Mountain be considered psych rock? There new album is absolutely brilliant.
|
Ever heard of Mary O'Hara, the Irish Harp virtuoso / singer songwriter? She's one of my favorite underrated folk influences from the 60s. What a voice.

Join my Facebook group (signature below) if you have FB. I'm posting new favourites on a daily basis. Sort of a song du jour thing I got going :) 333 & misterseth, thanks for the heads up! I have no idea if I've heard them before, I listen to so much stuff on a daily basis. But I'm gonna check it out. |
^Hmm, I see. Well, I visited your group and there is a lot of stuff there I like, but also a lot of it I'm not familiar with. So I'm sure you have many things to contribute here.
Btw, Made in Yugoslavia? Where exactly? Ako smem da pitam. :) |
I'm made in Slavonski Brod but I consider myself Yugoslav rather than a Croat, Serb och Bosniak :)
Yes, I created the group because I needed to post all my findings somewhere -- and share with others. :thumb: |
