And what kind of music do you happen to be into, Joseph the alcoholic?

My favorite bands/musicians are Tupac Shakur, Phish (or Trey alone), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Townes Van Zandt, Sir Elton John, James Taylor, and Yonder Mountain String Band. I also love the setlist from The Phantom of the Opera

I saw Yonder Mountain a couple years ago during a New Years show with Widespread Panic. They were pretty good, but when Yonder joined Widespread for a jam Jeff Austin would not stop hogging the spotlight. John Bell couldn't get a lead in to save his life. And mandolin is not nearly as badass as guitar to warrant that.

I saw YMSB, playing with Keller Williams do a bluegrass encore of Billy Joel's You May Be Right (I May Be Crazy) and I thought it was the greatest thing ever.

I'm gunna have to disagree with this. When musicians know how to play the instruments well, nothing beats a mandolin, banjo, and fiddle

I didn't say it wasn't badass at all...but compared to Bell's guitar skills...yeah, mandolin is not nearly as badass no matter how good the guy is.
