Hola
My name is Conor, I am 24 and currently stuck in Mass. until July (Denver).
There was time when I believed Dave Matthews was the only person who had good music. One day 2 years ago, I woke up and that wasn't the case anymore. I still enjoy some of their music but it takes a silver medal to just about everything I listen to these days and that phase of my life is pretty much over. I always loved The Who and still consider them my favorite band along with many of the bands of their time. However, I can't constantly live in the past with music and I try to stay to on top of music from this era. My primary reason for coming here is to stay ahead of the curve and expose myself to other's interests and new, somewhat unknown, music. I kind of want to become the friend my friends get their music from, but at the end of that day listen to an even bigger variety. |

Welcome, Uncle Ben/Conor,
I enjoyed reading your brief description of your musical awakening! I chuckled over your comment about Dave Matthews, because I'd never heard of him before joining MB. I hope you'll find a lot of new music here with which you aren't currently familiar that makes you want to share it with your friends!
