Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum, which is probably why I'm posting here. Here's a quick background on me:

I'm absolutely addicted to music; and, it's something I'm not willing to give-up. My musical taste is fairly eclectic; although, I'm sure everyone thinks that. I'm always open to new artists, bands, genres and songs.

My musical journey has taken me through several stages: listening to music, playing music and helping others get their music heard. When I'm not listening to music, I am involved with a couple music festivals in Los Angeles and book shows around town. If you want the full details, just ask.

Some of my favorite music, currently:

- Blur
- Sigur Ros
- Crystal Castles
- The Big Pink
- Radiohead
- A Place to Bury Strangers
... to name just a few.

I'm here to make friends, find great music and hopefully make some musical suggestions that people will like. Peace!

Thanks for the welcome. Have you seen The Big Pink live yet??? I'll admit I thought they were just "okay", until I saw them live at The El Rey Theatre.

No, that might explain it. I don't think much of Crystal Castles either but I respect them.

My main reason for liking Crystal Castles is that their music is so bizarre at times.

Yeah, I like them but don't get the hype really. But I admire what they're doing.
