Hello From Hoobie Joobie!

Hi, everyone! I'm Hoobie Hoobie. As I explained on my brand-spanking new song lyrics thread, Hoobie Joobie(s) is the name of a ficticious Pop and Roll band I came up with! It's from the novel I've just started writing. I love to write. Stories and song lyrics and even song parodies. Maybe I'll post one of my Beatles parodies called Brady Madonna (Lady Madonna, based on the Brady Bunch movie and tv show) one of these days. I love music and I'm very devoted to my faith in God.

...I'm also something of a wackjob at times! :)

I love the look of the forum... the complimentary cyber-bar with the fresh veggies and broccoli yogurt offered by the Kind Admin and Mods is a nice touch. I have a sense of humor and I love to laugh. I hope I can get to know you all well enough. Anyways...that's about it for now. Thanks for having me here.

P.S. Your shoelaces are untied! :wavey:

LOL. Hi there.

I actually like this forum. I'm a huge music fan and it seems like there are some really deep music lovers here.

I am a HUGE CCR fan! I love Suzie Q, Midnight Special and Run Through The Jungle, especially, and a lot of their hits..all of them, in fact. I also find it fascinating that they had several songs peak at number 2# on the Billboard charts, but never had a number 1# hit. I don't think.

John Fogerty's 1# album "Centerfield" from '85 was a masterpeice as well, and probably the song itself is one of the greatest baseball songs of all time. Don't quite get the follow up to that album called "Eye Of The Zombie". What up with that?!
