Default Can't think of anything witty, so I'll just say Hi...

Hi everyone,

So I'll just wade in then. My name's Gem, (Gemma if I've done something wrong), I'm the wrong side of 25 and I'm from glorious Medway in Kent. Should you know the area I can assure you that I do not wear tracksuits and massive gold earrings and do not survive on a diet of Stella, Fish Fingers and misery...

I'll try and keep the preferred music list fairly short, but it includes Bjork, Regina Spektor, Ryan Adams, OCS, The Clash, The Specials, The King Blues, Jamie T, A1 Bassline, Rusko, Groove Armada, Massive Attack, Shy FX, The Postal Service, American Analog Set, among many others...

That's about it really. I drink a lot of tea, I'm a vocalist in a band (when we can be bothered to actually go do gigs) and I'm just starting to learn the ukulele. Everything you need to know in a nutshell!

Be gentle with me...

Me too, but it was in a sorry state. I sized it up and added transparency for you, Miss Supremacist. Hope you can dig!

Welcome to Musicbanter.

(By the way, my favourite is Earl Grey, but I am also particular about brands. For bags, Ahmad does a nice one!)

Psh, you made me resize my own. Equality my ass.

Welcome, you seem like a very normal person. I think you'll fit in great.

Thank you indeed

Tore, you are a wonder! Thank you, I wasn't really that concerned about my Mad hatter (even though it is certainly one of the best illustrations of him ever), but now he is completely awesome! And no, I've never studied in Norway. Gemma is a hideously common name over here, especially in my age braket

Welcome...again! I do love that picture of the Mad Hatter, and I'm a big fan of the novel. What did you think of the recent Burton film? I disliked it personally.

I'm just curious because I've never heard that name here in the US. Is it pronounced like Geh-ma or Jeh-ma. Or am I just completely off?
