Hi Music Banter Members!

I'm Synthetic Ecstasy (most call me Syn or Synthie, I'm happy with either), I'm 28 and my name is taken from part of a lyric from a Celldweller track "Frozen".

I've been obsessed with music for as long as I can remember.

From about 4ish I was taught the piano, which went to keyboard, then flute, then saxophone and in between all of that I was part of various vocal type groups.

That's unfortunately fallen by the wayside over the years but music is still a huge part of who I am.

I'm pretty a rock girl, two of my musical obsessions right now are HURT and Poets Of The Fall.
At some point I will figure out how to do the last FM thing in my signature, lol as I'm sure you guys don't want a HUGE list of all the bands I'm into at the moment.

I really suck at introductions so I'm going to stop typing nonsense, say "hi" to everyone and mosey around for a bit!

Looking forward to getting to know you guys.
