Well I'll be damned, never knew that! You are a regular Hank Williams encyclopedia.
And Merle Haggard, I happen to love. I can hook you up good buddy! Merle Haggard Okie From Muskogee Theres a review of one of his best albums in my opinion and at the end are a few links for downloads of songs off the album. Another great album of his is Big City, a great one to check out. I'll try to upload that title song from the album for you at some point if I can. He's got a great distinctive sound to his music and his guitar playing is tops but he still has that outlaw tinge that I just love. Saw him in concert a few years ago and the old coot still's got it. Definitely recommend him! |

Yeah there is actually a documentary about Hank Williams named "Honky Tonk Blues" which is basically everyone that knew Hank telling stories and things about him which goes into detail about where Luke The Drifter thing came from. I've been dying to somehow get to Alabama to go to the Williams Museum. Some want to go to Graceland, I want to go to Hillbilly country, haha.
Thanks for the link to the MH thread, and I greatly appreciate your help. Okie From Muskogee contains some of the songs I've heard before, so I will probably get it first.
