Default Hi?

This is my first time using a forum, so somebody'll have to show me the ropes so I don't make a fool of myself.

My name is LA and you could say I'm the girl next door. I'm eighteen and live in Massachusetts; I enjoy a wide variety of music, but some of my favorite genres are classical, post-rock, and classic rock. Meaning Shostakovich, Sigur Ros, Ulrich Schnauss, Boards of Canada, and Led Zeppelin are amongst my favorites.

Nice to meet everyone.

I figured that you listened to some classical, seeing as your username is Orpheus. Like Orpheus of the Underworld? And I love Shostakovich's music, along with other stuff from other genres. This forum is pretty easy to use - there's a "new posts" button at the top that I like to use. It just takes you to threads that were updated since your last visit. You've already figured out how to make a thread! So welcome to MB!!

Yes, exactly. Classical music and greek mythology seem to go hand-in-hand for me. Thanks!

Well there's certainly a few operas based around Greek mythology, Orpheus being the most famous one, I think.
