Hola

The forum I used to frequent is shutting down, so I'm here to check the place out, see what's up...

I dig all kinds of music, but my favorite is low-down, gritty, bluesy, boozey, druggy rock and roll.

My favorite bands are:

The Beatles and The Stones (duh)
The Grateful Dead
Drive-By Truckers
Driving Wheel
The Steepwater Band
The Black Crowes
Big Star
Neil Young
Fleetwood Mac (ALL incarnations)
and any band with Jack White in it...

Along with tons of other artists.

Holla!

Thank you!

You're the only person to make me feel welcome here!

Why is that, are you having trouble?

Well so far you've trolled one of the emo threads and got all sarcastic when someone asked you to expand on something.

Which is fine by me I don't care one way or the other. But I would guess that it won't win you many friends until people are in a position to know you a bit better first.

first of all, there is great need for a sarcasm font.

And I asked a question in the emo thread - got a sarcastic response, so I responded in kind. After which, I was called "an idiot" and warned to get back on topic a "second time" (even though there was no first).

So if you don't care one way or another...what's your point? I'm not here to "make Interwebs friends" - I like discussing music, and learning about music.

Freely, openly...without pretentiousness or censorship.

Not really...mostly laughable stuff; people take themselves way too seriously sometimes.

Well I don't see how asking you to expand on something is censoring you, but maybe you see it different to how I do.

And my point is although I may not care one way or the other, other people may do.

All i'm saying is you can be as sarcastic as much as you like, if it makes people think you're an idiot people won't want to discuss music with you.

Nobody is saying you have to 'make interweb friends'. All i'm saying is you're not coming across very well at the moment. Being quick to label anyone who disagrees with you as being pretentious doesn't help either.

And that's not me trying to censor you in a moderating capacity, that's just my observation on why your introduction thread is relatively empty.
