Hi Stinkfist, thanks for the warm welcome. You're right, the Big Top 40 is a UK radio show and it's a chart show based on downloads only.

I like a range of music genres and artists, it depends on my mood really. I love pop and r 'n' b but also have a lot of rock and indie songs on my mp3 player. What are your favourite artists and music genres?

Like yourself and most people here I like many different genres and artists, bands like:

Tool
A perfect circle
QOTSA
Interpol
Wilco
Arctic Monkeys
The Strokes
60's/70's and 80's "classic rock"

I could go on but you get the idea. All will become aparant as you surf through the many threads. ;)

That is a varied list Stinkfist, some great bands there. Well I look forward to discussing these and many others.
